This brilliant, young and internationally acclaimed pianist makes her San Antonio debut as a Finalist of the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, winner of the Laureate Prize at The Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium in 2007 and the 1999 International Franz List Piano Competition in The Netherlands.

Meet the Artist:
On Monday, January 17, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at AnArte Gallery, ARTS SA presents a Magical Evening for Music and Art Lovers. At this event, you can Meet the Artist: Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Finalist Mariangela Vacatello. This acclaimed Italian pianist will do a pre-performance preview.
There will also be an exclusive Giclee Unveiling with Artist Cesar Proa. The Giclee is a piece of art promoting The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma in Concert at the Majestic Theatre on Thursday, March 31, 2011. A Post-Concert Gala called An Evening on the Silk Road with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble is another ARTS SA opportunity to meet the artists in person. The limited-edition giclee will be available for purchase and signing.
